Post Visit, GT moves up for Choice

Adam Choice had been waiting for some time to visit Georgia Tech and on Saturday, the four-star running back from Thomas County Central made the trip up to Atlanta to visit the Flats. Choice was so impressed with his visit he has a new top three that now includes the Jackets.
"It was a great visit and I had a great time up there with my family," Choice told Jacketsonline Saturday evening. "We got there and watched a highlight film and toured the stadium and met with the staff and I got to see and hear how I would be used in Tech's offense. We also met with the academic people and then I talked with Coach Johnson for a while."

After the visit, Choice says he could see himself following in the footsteps of his cousins Joe Burns and Tashard Choice and becoming a Jacket.
"Georgia Tech is moving up for me and they would be number three right now behind Clemson and Auburn in my top group of schools," he said. "Atlanta is a great city, Tech is a great school with great facilities and I hope to get back up for another visit this summer."
Yellow Jacket assistant coach Andy McCollum has been the lead recruiter for Choice and Choice says their relationship is one of the reasons why Tech has moved up his list.
"Coach McCollum is such a great guy and is so funny. He is a just hilarious and I feel like I can really talk to him and I really enjoy spending time with him," Choice said.
Initially Tech offered Choice as a quarterback, the position he plays in high school, but Choice now says the Jackets like him as either an A-back or B-back.
"I talked to Coach Johnson and they definitely want me as a back now. He told me I could play either A-back or B-back and most likely both spots during my career at Tech," he said.
Choice made the trip to Atlanta with his mother, father and brother and he plans to revisit his top programs including Tech later this summer.
