Owens commits to GT
Pope HS (Ga.) three-star receiver Zach Owens landed his Georgia Tech offer recently after a visit to the Flats. On Friday, he wasted no additional time announcing his commitment to the Jackets. Owens spoke with JOL about his decision.
"Georgia Tech was just a perfect fit for me and I just wanted to get it over with and commit," he said.
Both the Georgia Tech coaches and Owens' own family had the same reaction when he shared the good news.
"The Tech coaches were really excited and my family were really happy about the decision and my future at Tech," he said.
Owens is the third commit for the 2019 class for Georgia Tech and the second offensive skill player joining Devin Ellison who committed at the end of March.
