Georgia Tech Football Practice Notes Fall Camp Day 4

ATLANTA- The second week of Georgia Tech football fall camp started early on Monday morning in Bobby Dodd Stadium as the Jackets continued to gear up toward going in full pads. Shoulder pads were added to the mix and that allowed for a more spirited practice on the Flats.

After the shells practice, we spoke to offensive coordinator Dave Patenaude as well as quarterbacks Jeff Sims and Trad Beatty. Beatty a grad transfer from Temple explained why he came back to play for head coach Geoff Collins and coach Patenaude.

"The commitment I made as a high school 17-year-old was to coach Collins' program and for me, it was really kind of like a blessing to have the opportunity to come and fulfill that commitment."
