Georgia Tech coach Josh Pastner impressed with NC State
Georgia Tech coach Josh Pastner thought NC State could be an Elite Eight team this season.
Pastner compared this year's Wolfpack to the Miami (Fla.) squad, which reached the Elite Eight last year. Georgia Tech used a variety of defenses to try to throw NC State off guard, and it generally worked for the majority of the game. However, NC State put the clamps down late and pulled out the 72-64 victory at PNC Arena in Raleigh.
