One of the three final commits and signees for the 2018 for Georgia Tech was defensive lineman Ja’Quon Griffin who picked Tech over a bevy of offers from P5 schools. The Rome HS star will arrive at Tech this month and he aims to compete right away in the new 3-4 defense under defensive coordinator Nate Woody and new defensive line coach Jerome Riase for playing time.

The new scheme fits Griffin well because he can play either end or nose tackle depending on how his body fills out in college.
