Bennett's freshman season over after 7 games

Georgia Tech freshman defensive end Chico Bennett has been one of the standout true freshmen on the defensive side of the ball for the Yellow Jackets. Bennett has been battling through a lower-body injury since early in the season and Friday he announced via social media that his season is over after seven games after surgery on Thursday.

In those seven games, Bennett recorded 17 tackles and half a sack in a reserve role.
