Atlanta native and Georgia Tech's top receiver Nate McCollum announced his intentions to enter the transfer portal on Monday night as the Jackets' coaching search drags along without a hire three months after Geoff Collins was fired.

McCollum is the second player to announce his intentions following quarterback Jeff Sims on Sunday. More Jacket players are expected to announce their departures based on the head coaching search and who is named head coach eventually.
