Weekend Visitors for the 17TH

Mesquite Texas 4 star safety Dylan Sumner-Gardner.

With just three weekends left till National LOI Day and a Boise State recruiting class in turmoil after the coaching change these last three weekends could not be more important for the success of the Bronco's 2014 recruiting class.

Even before long time coach Chris Petersen left Boise to take the vacant coaching job at Washington Bronco commits were starting to defect. In fact Boise State fans have seen a record setting seven one time verbals defect to other programs and there is still a possibility a few more may follow.

Certainly a daunting task for any coach but new Boise State head coach Brian Harsin wasted no time showing he was up to the task by quickly assembling a staff that included some of the best young recruiters in the country. Two of which are Offensive coordinator, Mike Sanford and Defensive Coordinator, Marcel Yates. Harsin's staff had not even been completely filled before recruits started to commit to the young coaching staff when four star Texas A&M commit, Dylan Sumner-Gardner, decommited from the Aggies to follow coach Yates to Boise State.

Since then Sumnner-Gardner has been followed up by verbal commits from Jerhen Ertel, Tennessee Su'esu'e, David Lucero and Cory Young. but with only three weekends left to fill out the 2014 class there is still a lot of work and pressure on this new staff to fill out their first recruiting class.

This weekends visitors in no particular order are: Derrick Boles, Jerhen Ertel, Jabril Frazier, Jalen Harvey, Joshua Liddell, Thomas Stuart and Dylan Sumner-Gardner and below is a little more about these recruits on official visits.

The Recruiting Exchange reflects the status of recruits interested in the football program. These trends are based on our collective observations, what we've heard from recruits, high school coaches, information from Rivals.com, and other reliable sources.

These prognastications are not necessarily a reflection of the coaching staff.

Jabril Frazier - OLB - Los Angeles, California (6'4", 225, ) NR

Joshua Liddell - S - Pine Bluff, Arkansas (6'1", 193, )

#1 Jalen Harvey did not make the trip to Boise but instead tripped to Western Kentucky where he flipped his Southern alabama verbal over to Western Kentucky. Most likely lost his offer after Derrick boles committed to the Broncos.

#2 JUCO QB Thomas Stuart committed Sunday while on his visit to Boise State.

#3 Jabril Frazier also did not make his scheduled trip to Boise this weekend but hoped to reschedule for a later date.
