Stars of Alabama: Week 7

Player of the Week: Mitch Stults, quarterback, Hamilton High School
Stults has a big night on both sides of the ball. He completed 13-of-14 passes for 263 yards and three touchdowns. He rushed for 45 yards and two touchdowns. He also had eight tackles and two interceptions on defense. He returned one of the interceptions for a touchdown. He is within 126 yards of the AHSAA career all-purpose yards record.
Other top performers
Nick Mullens, quarterback, Spain Park High School (Hoover)
Mullens completed 40-of-46 passes for 322 yards and three touchdowns in a 34-13 win against Oak Mountain. His 40 completions set a Class 6A record and ranked second all-time for all AHSAA classes.
Tanner Ivey, quarterback, Haleyville High School
Ivey completed 24-of-38 for 496 yards and six touchdowns in a 68-37 win against Priceville.
Kenny Smith, wide receiver, Corner High School
Smith hauled in 11 passes for 212 yards and three touchdowns in a 24-21 win against Jemison High School.
Michael Powers, wide receiver, Hoover High School
Powers reeled in eight passes for 204 yards and two touchdowns in a 34-14 win against Hillcrest-Tuscaloosa. He also had a fumble recovery.
Charles Buchanon, running back, Pleasant Grove High School
Buchanon had 20 carries for 221 yards and two touchdowns on the ground. He also had three receptions for 42 yards and another score in a 36-22 win against Fairfield High School.
Terrell Woods, defensive end, Boaz High School
Woods had 10 tackles, three sacks, six tackles for loss and a forced fumble in a 27-13 win against Southside High SChool in Gadsden.
Jalen Washington, wide receiver, Lanett High School
Washington caught four passes for 169 yards and three touchdowns in a 33-27 win against Randolph County High School. He caught the game-winning touchdown with 47 second remaining in the game. He later had an interception to secure the victory.
Jamarcus June, running back, Luverne High School
June had an all-purpose night with 24 rushing attempts for 231 yards and two touchdowns in a 26-21 win against Elba High School; he returned an interception on defense for a touchdown, 12 tackles and averaged 35 yards on four punts.
Clark Quisenbery, quarterback, Enterprise High School
Quisenberry had 277 yards of total offense and three touchdowns in a 27-24 win against Dothan High School. He threw the game-winning nine-yard touchdown pass with two seconds remaining in the game on a fourth-and-nine play. He passed for 171 yards with two touchdowns and rushed for 106 yards on 13 carries with a 47-yard touchdown.
Toby Pee, running back, Sardis High School
Pee had 23 carries for 165 yards and three touchdowns and also caught six passes for 115 yards with another touchdown. He threw the game winning touchdown pass in a 48-40 win against St. Clair County High School.
Joel Poe, quarterback, Spanish Fort High School
Poe was 22-of-28 passing for 307 yards and three touchdowns in a 38-30 win against Vigor High School.
ArDarius Stewart, quarterback/athlete, Fultondale High School
Stewart had 25 carries for 233 yards rushing and five touchdowns. He had a 55-yard touchdown pass and an interception on defense in a 59-36 win against Vinemont High School.
Kristian Jones, running back, Hackleburg High School
The talented freshman had 351 yards on the ground and four touchdowns in a 40-16 win against Phillips High School.
