Leggett picks Tech

After a quick courtship, Georgia Tech landed an in-state running back to help fill out an already impressive 2014 class. North Gwinnett three-star back C.J. Leggett announced his intentions on becoming a Yellow Jacket.

Leggett can play either A-back (slotback) or B-back (fullback) position in Georgia Tech's spread option offense. The offer from Tech came late last week after his impressive playoff performance against McEachern and Norcross. Leggett nearly eclipsed 400 yards rushing between those two games.

The talented back ran for over 1700 yards averaging over 6 yards per carry while leading his team to the state championship game in Class AAAAA. Leggett is just the third offensive skill position player to commit to Tech in the 2014 recruiting cycle.
