Aeris Williams Leading Green Wave into Playoffs

West Point High School has had an up and down season. With a young team, the Green Wave began the year just 2-4 and looked to be hung out to dry. The 5A traditional powerhouse has responded with five-straight wins on the back of MSU commit and 3-star running back Aeris Williams.

Williams and his squad played their final regular season game of 2013 on senior night at Hamblin Stadium on Thursday where the Green Wave rolled to a 62-34 victory. Williams' night was done after the first possession of the second half as he quietly put up 14 carries for 101 yards and two touchdowns as well as three catches for 77 yards and another touchdown. The 100-yard performance put him over 2,000 yards on the year as the workhorse has carried 301 times for an incredible 2,025 yards and 28 touchdowns.
