Sooner Commits Lead Way at Gridiron Classic
TULSA - In spite of lengthy offer lists for a pair of returning stars from one of Oklahoma's two flagship programs, Tulsa Union, many still remain with lingering questions about Sooners commitment Jeffery Mead and Carson Meier.
The two basketball players often get stuck with the same question that many who play both sports do - can they handle the physicality of football?
Last Thursday night at Union's Gridiron Classic the talented twosome had a pair of touchdown catches in a romp against Arkansas power Springdale (Ark.) Har-Ber including a 60-yard catch and run from Meier.
