After reeling in five commitments in a six day period last week, Georgia's hot stretch in recruiting continued on Wednesday with another verbal pledge from Tucker linebacker Detric Dukes.

"I am now committed to Georgia," Dukes told UGASports on Thursday afternoon.

Dukes committed to Louisville on April 15, but had taken a two visits to Athens in a 10-day period.

His second visit was last Saturday with his family, and it was then that the Georgia coaching staff extended an offer to the three-star linebacker.

Much like 2013 UGA signee Reggie Carter, Dukes has spent half of his career as a defensive end, but he made the move to inside linebacker for his junior season where he started all 13 games for the Tigers.

The Tucker standout becomes Georgia's 11th commitment in the 2014 class, and the first commitment at linebacker for the Bulldogs.
