Sooners are No. 1 for WR Offer
Though the Longview, Texas Lobos may not be as run-heavy as they once were there is no doubt they are still a team that prides themselves on their ability to run to set up the pass. That dogged determination to run could have something to do with why Dorian Leonard had gotten by with little fanfare in recruiting prior to Oklahoma's interest, and shortly followed offer, last week.
It's also no small part of why the 6-foot-4, 180-pound prospect took a real shine to Norman while on campus for Oklahoma's junior day on Saturday.
"They were letting me know a lot about their offense - they always have three or four receivers and that most of the time they are passing it and that they like to pass the ball a lot," Leonard said. "At Longview they like to run the ball, but (passing that much) is something I'm looking for.
"The offense they run, oh yeah, I like the way they do things."
