Texas WR commits

Texas wide receiver Anjeus Jones has seen his recruiting take a couple of different twists and turns on the way to national signing day. First, he verbally committed to New Mexico State followed by Colorado State, but now he has found a new home. After making an official visit to Iowa this weekend, the 6-foot-3, 195-pound Jones plans to sign with the Hawkeyes.

"When I talked to Coach Ferentz today, he asked me if I was ready to be a Hawkeye," said Jones. "I told him, 'Yes sir,' and it made him get up out of his chair. He was really happy with it and so am I."
