Wolfpack targeting Shrine Bowl sleeper
Every year the Shrine Bowl of the Carolinas All-Star Game in Spartanburg, S.C., seems to unveil a prospect or two. For example, in the 2007 edition of the event, linebacker Sterling Lucas from Orangeburg (S.C.) Wilkinson High went from unknown to sought-after recruit.
Lucas of course would sign with NC State and started every game at middle linebacker in 2012, when he was also voted the defensive captain.
The Pack hopes to repeat that success with athlete Malcolm Means from Lewisville (S.C.) High.
