Recruiting impact: CU Week

Normally when the Oregon Ducks play home games they bring in a large group of official visitors. That does not appear to be the case for this weekend's game against Colorado. The one recruit who has indicated he will be in Eugene as the Ducks take on Colorado is a highly coveted one.

Official visitor for this weekend

Leon McQuay III is the only recruit to indicate he will make his official visit this weekend. McQuay is rated as the No. 2 safety in the country and the No. 18 player overall. The five-star prospect has Florida State, USC and Vanderbilt on top of his list. Assuming he makes the trip from Florida, Oregon could easily join that group.

The Ducks do not have any true safety prospect committed to the class of 2013 yet and certainly would like to bring one into the program this year to replenish the unit following the graduation of John Boyett.
