HD: '14 RB Michael Farmer & '13 DB Trevan Smith

A week ago Edmond North knocked off Edmond Santa Fe to complete the sweep of their crosstown rivals giving themselves the right to call themselves 'Edlam Champions'.

2014 North running back Michael Farmer got the Huskies on the board first with a 6-yard run and SCOOP HD was there in attendance to check out the 6-foot-2, 207- pound prospect who turned in 73 yards on 10 carries.

A member of the 2014 Sooner State Watchlist Farmer joins the Edmond North program in 2012 after a transfer from Edmond Memorial where he started to build a name for himself a year ago as a running back and spot defensive end.

Some have mentioned that Farmer could project to play outside linebacker at the next level.

Also spotlighted in this Scoop HD feature is 2013 Edmond Santa Fe defensive back Trevan Smith.

The brother of former Oklahoma Sooner Reggie Smith continues to prove he's one of the fastest players in the state was on the receiving end of a 80-yard touchdown recpetion from quarterback Justice Hansen.

SoonerScoop.com will get another look at Smith and the Wolves (2-1) this evening when they host Southmoore (3-0) at Edmond's Wantland Stadium.

A radio broadcast of the game can be heard on WWLS The SportsAnimal (98.1 FM) with Scoop's own Carey Murdock joining Gideon Hamilton in the booth.
