I am posting this because of my love of college football, a sport that is being ruined and abused by those that profit from our sport. The power players in place not only manipulate the results but play on the fans dislike for all but their favorite teams. We as loyal fans need to take our sport back, we can, but we need to band together and boycott watching all post season games until we get our way. If your team is going to a bowl game, go ahead and watch it or better yet if you have a DVR and want to protest even that game, delay it enough to take out all advertisements. In that case remember to turn off your phone!
We need change, I am for a playoff like they have in FCS (formally division 2) and I would urge fans to at least read about how that system works, it works very well. The link below explains it very well for those that are not familiar with the system. In the FCS system LSU could still play Alabama in the big game but the Tide would have to make it through a harder bracket. A team that lost the week before could not be voted into the next weeks game, which has happened in the past with our current system.
We need to change to a fair system, not necessarily the system above but a system where you can earn the right to play in the championship game and not depend the politics and manipulation of media or the choices of teams based on how well they're fans travel.
I am 56 years old and grew up loving the Bowl system, I was against change of any kind. That is very much in the past now, the BCS system has destroyed the traditional bowls with greed on a lot of levels including the NCAA, media, bowl organizers, conferences and even our universities themselves. Some of this destruction is result of having to survive, some is just result of simply having a more familiar name on your helmet.

Also take the time to contact as many University Presidents, Athletic Director’s, Newspapers, blogs, advertisers or whom ever you think can make a difference. Forward those addresses to me if you like, I will assemble a contact list and make it available.
I’m not a troll that will continue to return and keep posting this so it will be up to those who agree and wish to effect a change to keep this going.
