Redisni, for someone who calls another "clueless" and "stupid", let's look at your reply and weigh its credibility. If you had fully read the original post and fully comprehended its entire six sentence statement, we see that it consisted of:
1. Paul Johnson has got to go 2. loses Georgia games and Bowl games 3. doesn't know how to get a team ready to play a game 4. is an embarrassment 5. lacks consistency 6. I am a fan since mid-sixties.
You addressed:
1. Paul Johnson "brilliant" 2. one selfish play by Attaochu and 3. outplays Georgia .
I'll ignore the ridiculous statement about "one player's selfish play" and move on to the "brilliant" and "Georgia" comments. Brilliant, maybe, but the name of the game at the end of the day is victory. NOT ALMOST, AND CONSISTENTLY. Paul Johnson doesn't know how to get a team ready. Have you noticed the mental mistakes and errors over the past three seasons? In one game they look great, the next like a little league team. There's more to being a great coach than just being brilliant...YOU MUST BE ABLE TO GET THE TEAM READY TO PLAY. Georgia and Bowl games- the records stand for themselves...at the end of the day who was victorious? It becomes embarrassing because there is no consistency. Sure, you run up the yardage, but you gain few points, so your point there becomes moot. Do I need to discuss the other side of the ball?
As for me, I've been a fan since the mid-sixties, die-hard and to the bone. I've seen coaches come and go. I understand your fan mentality. You just sit there in the bleachers and do your little rah rah cheer and try to get some education about the game of football and coaching it before you start the name calling. One could say you were clueless and uneducated if you think brilliance, high yardage and losing foolishly is going in the right direction.

`

I can only go at one speed, so try and follow along. GT had taken the lead vs. VT by scoring 16 straight points as I recall. The Hokie D was absolutely gassed and giving up big play after big play as they could not get off the field. GT had stopped Logan Thomas as they had him completely wrapped up on a 4th and long and were poised to force VT to punt the ball back to GT from deep in their own territory. The gassed VT D would have been sent right back out on the field and with VTs hideous punt game, GT probably would have started inside the VT 40. Pay close attention now, this is the point where Attaochu threw a punch. VT got the ball back and went down and scored a TD. I guess ignorance is bliss.

I'll assume that you got your point #6 right, but based on your other comments, that might be a leap in logic on my part.

Background check, I've forgotten more about football in the time it took me to respond to your lunacy than you will ever know. I make my living in the business. Now, stick to selling shoes or whatever it is you do and leave the coaching analysis to people who have some idea what they are talking about. I speak to the best coaches in America every day and Paul Johnson is absolutely amongst that group.

Ok Your first statement speaks for itself (I can only go at one speed), you can only focus on one (1) item at a time. I know it is hard for you, but think of a season as a bag of cookies. In that bag you have more than one cookie. In football more than one game or one play makes up a portion of a season. In your first response you only commented on a Ga. game (singular- that means one). The second response was the VT game (singular). For someone who seems intelligent, I must tell you that you are missing the whole point. The original post mentioned can't beat Ga. and can't win a bowl game. Since he has been head coach more than 1 year this statement is plural- means more than one. As for your background, I don't know anything about it just as you know nothing of mine. If you are truly in the business then I don't think you will ever get far because when you result to name calling in a normal conversation it just shows that you have nothing quality to say so you revert to third grade antics. Since you think that you are the Guru of football and that if someone else does not have the same opinion as you, then they are clueless, stupid and a lunatic, the conversation ends here. P.S. You might want to have that forgetfulness looked at, it obviously affects your ability to concentrate.

Regarding Georgia, despite being out-talented, Johnson's teams have rushed for over 400 yards in 2 separate games vs. UGA. GT outplayed Georgia in both, gaining 500 yards and snapping it 92 times at UGA a year ago.

You people are either too stupid to be considered seriously or UGA fans posing as Tech fans. I'm neither, just somebody who recognizes great coaching when he sees it.

Nailed it. Post often! The dawgs are jealous that PJ will be at Tech for a long time. Will probably beat the dawgs in between 15-20 more times. That is the hope! WE LOVE CPJ!
