Pros: Bienemann is rated the best long snapper in this draft, in addition to his ability as a tight end. He is an aggressive blocker that knows how to keep low despite his height. He is also adept at reaching the second level and neutralizing defenders. As a pass receiver, he has good hands and can extend and catch away from his body. After the catch, he is a tough, aggressive runner that fights for extra yardage. He is one of the best goal-line receivers at the position this year.
Cons: He suffered a serious knee injury in November with both his ACL and MCL damaged. He had an operation that required further rehab, forcing him to miss the postseason all-star games and the NFL Combine. His rookie season is most likely in jeopardy at this point.
Numbers: In nine starts as a senior he caught 24 passes for 278 yards (11.6-yard average) and three touchdowns. As a junior he caught 26 passes for 288 yards (11.1 yard average) and two touchdowns.
Skinny: His ability as a long snapper could earn him a draft grade on the second day. Good late pick or free agent addition with the talent to be a steal for the patient club that gives him time to heal.
