Brad Nuckles?

Prior to the Boys National (17U) AAU tournament in Orlando, there was a ?56-team field for the Super Showcase event, also held at the Wide World of Sports venue at the Disney complex. I had a chance to catch up to Council HS post player Brad Nuckles, who was playing for the Tennessee Traveler team, as he has all spring and summer. The following is the interview conducted with Brad during the tournament:

????TJ- Brad, tell us are you pleased with your game during the tournament so far?
????
????Brad Nuckles- " Yes, I had a bad tournament in Augusta ( Peach Jam Tournament), and after tonight's game I feel I have my confidence back and was able to go inside and get some easy baskets."

????TJ- This is the best I have seen you play thus far, what areas of your game have you been working on?

????Brad Nuckles- "Shot fakes on the perimeter and taking the ball to the basket. Also, I have been working on getting my shot off quicker. This was one of the first games that I have been able to go inside and spend a good portion of the game."

????TJ- ?Can you tell me which schools you are currently hearing from the most?

?????Brad Nuckles - " Clemson, Richmond, N.C. St, UNC- Charlotte are the ones contacting me the most."

????TJ- Do you have any favorites at this time?

????Brad Nuckles- " Clemson, Richmond and UNC-Charlotte."

?????TJ- When do you think you might make a decision?

?????Brad Nuckles- "During the early signing period."

?????TJ- Have you visited any schools unofficially?

?????Brad Nuckles - " I will visit some schools on my way home from the tournament."

?????TJ- Which schools?

?????Brad Nuckles- " I am planning on stopping in at NC St."

?????TJ- What schools have made you scholarship offers?

?????Brad Nuckles - " Clemson, Virginia Tech, Pittsburgh and about 15-16 others, that I cant really think of at this time."

?????TJ - What areas of your game do you consider to be your strengths at this time?

?????Brad Nuckles - " My outside shot and 3-point shooting."
