Time ticks for Hendrix, Steele
Hendrix has worked out for Boston, Indiana, Detroit, Cleveland, Washington (yesterday), Memphis (today) and has Seattle, Golden State and San Antonio left.
Scout: "hendrix has done a solid job. Probably better than expected but not enough to put him in the first round. He could go in the second but that is not guaranteed. There is a myth out there that guys like him can't improve their stock by going back to school but that isn't true. Experience is a valuable asset."
It doesn't look like at this point that Steele has worked out for anyone nor will he. Its possible he will have an open workout on his own.
Scout: "I don't think Steele was able to play himself into the draft but he got back in our line of sight which won't hurt for next year. The injury obviously set him back in his career but there will be some teams keeping a close eye on him next year. He's a talented player who needs to prove that he is healthy."
Inside word is that both are leaning to coming back especially steele but aren't ready to say that publicly yet.
