Post-game sound bites from Vandy-Georgia Tech

Vanderbilt soundly defeated Georgia Tech by a 92-79 score on Saturday afternoon in Nashville in a game the Commodores controlled from start to finish. VandySports.com was in attendance for the entire post-game press conference, and brings you some of the key sound bites from Coaches Kevin Stallings and Paul Hewitt, as well as Commodore players Shan Foster and Alan Metcalfe.

Senior guard/forward Shan Foster (17 points, 2-3 3-pointers, two assists)

On Vanderbilt playing to its potential against Georgia Tech:
"Coach talked about it after the game. He envisions the potential of our team, and how good we can be, that's pretty much the thought that comes across his mind.

"It started on the defensive end. We paid attention to defense. We were very aware and very physical from the beginning of the game, and it just carried on out."

On guarding Tech's Anthony Morrow, who scored no points in the first half and finished with 12 against an 18-point average:
"We knew he was a great player, and an awesome shooter. I just tried to take away his attempts. When you're guarding someone like that that gets the ball up quick and is a good player, you try to limit his attempts. And when you limit his attempts, it's kind of hard to make shots when you're not taking any."
