Pullman Practice Report - Day 12

WazzuWatch.com Cold, windy days are a regular on the Palouse. But hail storms? That's a different story.
Much to the delight of the WSU football team, Monday's practice was cut short by about thirty minutes after a hail storm turned Rogers Field into a field of white in a matter of seconds.
Once the hail started to come down, running back Marcus Richmond was able to run for a big gain. After that, head coach Bill Doba decided to call it a day.
However, the cold weather couldn't put out the sparks that ignited the defense.
The defense turned in two, nearly three, interceptions in 11-on-11 drills. Brian Williams intercepted Gary Rogers and Cory Evans stepped in front of a pass intended for tight end Tony Thompson for an interception.
