Dawgs head to Lexington

The Georgia Bulldogs basketball team (17-10, 8-6) will look for their fifth win since Mike Mercer's injury in the South Carolina game as they head up to Kentucky (19-9, 8-6) Wednesday night.

Following Tennessee's upset win over #4 Florida Gators in Knoxville Tuesday night, Georgia needs a couple more wins to get a ticket to the big dance.

The Bulldogs are tied for fourth place in the SEC East with Kentucky. Georgia owns the tiebreaker over Kentucky and they need another win to keep ahead of the Wildcats for the number four spot. If they can beat both Kentucky in Lexington and Tennessee in Athens, they will end the regular season as at least the number three or four team in the East and they will probably lock up a NCAA Tournament birth.
