Nothing comes easy in first SEC win
In its march to the Southeastern Conference championship last year, half of LSU's 14 victories came by six points or less.
LSU was back in a tight situation at the PMAC on Saturday as it was trying to record its first SEC victory of the season. LSU, which never led by more than five points, had to survive a last-second 3-point shot to come away with a 65-63 victory against Auburn.
LSU which trailed for nearly the entire first half, did not go ahead for good until Glen Davis made a field goal with fewer than eight minutes left in the game.
