Stud offensive tackle recruit Kevin Bryant says he has yet to speak with Cane coach Randy Shannon.

But he has spoken with line coach Mario Cristobal, who may take the FIU job today.

"I've spoken mostly with Mario Cristobal," Bryant said. "He came by my school last Thursday, just basically told me to keep my head up, stay in the books and keep working hard."

Bryant has yet to set up his UM visit date and says of his favorites that "Everything's open."
