Texas ATH getting out-of-state attention

Plano (Texas) East athlete Chris Slater may not have landed an early in-state offer, but that hasn't stopped out-of-state programs from sending some his way.

New Mexico State was the first school to offer the 6-foot, 181-pound two-way player, but now Louisiana Lafayette and Central Florida have stepped to the plate with their offer. Slater says the offer from the Sunshine State definitely peaked his interest.
