Bulldogs add 3-star tackle
While Mississippi State fans were preparing for an historic day on the diamond, the maroon and white faithful received some good news on the football recruiting front just before first pitch.
The Bulldogs received a commitment from three-star offensive tackle Jordan Harris of Stone Mountain, Ga., becoming the first high school offensive lineman of the 2014 class.
"There's just something about Mississippi State man," Harris said. "They are in a good conference and it's close to home. They are going to make sure that we are all family and that my family can come to the games."
The 6-foot-6, 265-pounder called both MSU head coach Dan Mullen and offensive line coach John Hevesy Friday afternoon to give them his pledge.
