Clayborn bonds with offensive line
The 2013 class in the state of Mississippi was rich with offensive line prospects.
Mississippi State has landed commitments from four of the Magnolia State's top linemen and that group, including Jamaal Clayborn, spent the weekend in Starkville on an official visit.
"It was just good to hang out with those guys," Clayborn said. "They liked me and I liked them. I think we can make something happen in Bulldog country."
Clayborn visited this weekend along with fellow o-line commitments Kent Flowers, Deon Mix and Jake Thomas. The offensive line of the future was hosted by the line of the present headed up by Gabe Jackson and Tobias Smith.
"They were just down to earth people," Clayborn said. "They could have had their heads up their butts, especially Gabe because he's All-SEC and an All-American. He doesn't have to deal with all of us rookies but both Tobias and Gabe had me laughing and I had them laughing. We really had a good time. I couldn't have spent my weekend any better than being there with those guys."
10 of the 12 official visitors this weekend are already committed to the Bulldogs with nine of those being from Mississippi. Clayborn enjoyed spending time with his future teammates and building that bond together even more.
