Shipp Getting Serious About Vols Commitment
When a head coach is relieved of his duties on the college football scene the programs commitment class either stays intact or falls apart. We have yet to see what the result will be with Tennessee now that they have fired Derek Dooley but one of the Volunteers' top commitments has decided to consider his options and look around at other programs though he hasn't officially decommitted.
That is Ben Bradley, 6-foot-2 and 315-pound four-star defensive tackle out of Hutchinson (Kan.) C.C. and is originally from Georgia. Miami, Missouri, Nebraska and Texas are showing interest in Bradley who held 18-offers before today but that total increased after a phone call from Oklahoma defensive tackles coach, Jackie Shipp informed him that he had an offer from the Sooners.
"I am happy about it. I think I want to play in a 4-3. Me picking up this offer is good for me and I am thinking about taking a visit this weekend," Bradley said.
