The one major adjustment that Dimarya Mixon dealt with when moving from his native Compton, Ca. to Mesquite, Tx. last summer was the heat. With temperatures consistently hovering over 100 degrees, the rising senior had to ease into his surroundings and eventually found it to be a seamless transition. But now the 6-foot-3, 250-pounder is dealing with a different kind of heat, this time on the recruiting trail as a number of schools are actively pursuing him.

Mixon has been committed to Arizona State since early May and remains that way citing his relationship and comfort level with both the staff and the school.
