Mundt details Oregon commitment
Central Catholic in Modesto, California is not a large school. With an enrollment just north of 400 students, they would seem too small to produce any Pac-12 football talent. That is not the case. With several players already sprinkled throughout the league's rosters, they are adding another in the Class of 2013.
Tight end John Mundt started for the Raiders since his sophomore year. Last week he chose the University of Oregon for his college career. Duck Sports Authority caught up with him for the details.
"After I saw the Oregon campus, and it was about the fourth school I had seen, I just had a really good feeling," said Mundt. "The coaches were great and it was just a great atmosphere. I could tell they were really going to push me academically as well as on the football field and that is what really sold me."
His early June visit to the State was not confined to Eugene.
"I flew up to Oregon a couple weeks ago," began Mundt. "After we landed the first thing we did was visit Oregon State. We saw Corvallis, toured around, met the coaches and just got a feel.
