Like many of the true freshmen defenders signed by Georgia Tech in 2011, linebacker Tremayne McNair spent much of his freshman season watching from the sidelines and helping on special teams. Heading into his second year on the Flats, McNair has a new position and he is pushing veteran Jackets for playing time this fall.
