Shawne Alston's teammates had been giving him a hard time for not breaking off a big run since his return from the injury earlier this season.

"They talk all the time about how I'm not fast enough to break a big run," he said.

But at the 6:17 mark in the first quarter of the Rutgers game, Alston put those concerns to rest when he turned the corner and busted a run down the left side line for a 52-yard touchdown, breaking two tackles on the way to the endzone.
